release-notes

release-notes is a Changelogs & release notes skill for AI agents, published by go-vela in the community repository on GitHub. Skillspace rates release-notes C (74/100) and it passed the safety scan; the rating is based on static analysis only.

Generates Vela release notes for a given target version by fetching commits from the five core go-vela repos (cli, sdk-go, server, ui, worker), filtering and categorizing them by conventional commit type, writing an AI-authored Highlights section, and producing a finished draft at releases/<version>.md. Supports two modes: tagged (compare previous x.(y-1).z to target .0, with a forward-bridge if a repo has already released past target) and unreleased (compare latest non-prerelease tag to HEAD on each repo).

Not launch-quality. It is graded C with a clean safety verdict, but our quality filters exclude it: it is a near-duplicate variant of another skill; it looks written only for the repository it lives in. So it is not in our launch-quality set, the skills our MCP server searches and recommends. How launch-quality is decided
